Stainsby Associates was established in 1999 by Gillian Young. Gillian graduated from the University of East Anglia in 1987 with a degree in French and Linguistics and has been a research professional since 1991, with an impressive track record of managing high profile assignments. She is supported by a number of trained associate researchers with diverse backgrounds.

Since September 2016 Gillian has been a committee member of the Executive Research Association and since October 2018 Co-Treasurer.
